DCI WALBRIDGE PARTNERS, LTD. ("DCIWP") is a joint-venture between the Walbridge Group of Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A., a global construction and engineering firm and the largest private general contractor to the automotive industry with more than $1.5 billion in annual revenues, and Delta Capital Investment, one of the holding companies for the Barba family (U.S.A.) interests in Europe.
DCIWP invests in the manufacturing, construction and engineering, real estate and agricultural areas, with a primary focus on manufacturing and engineering of automotive engine components. DCIWP's operations are managed from the U.S.A. (Detroit, New York and Miami) and from Europe (Romania, Cyprus).
DCIWP's manufacturing operations encompass more than 100,000 square meters of vertically-integrated facilities, including high-precision machining, foundry, heat treatment, metal plating, engineering and prototype development, and involve more than 1,500 people located in 50 countries in Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
The main production facilities are located in Romania and are centered on MEFIN S.A., a manufacturer of diesel fuel injection systems and related spare parts, as wel as a wide variety of other automotive components. MEFIN S.A. was established in 1892 and was acquired by DCIWP in 2003.
